“Oneida Community Photographs.” 23 Sept. 2003. Syracuse University. 25 March 2006. http://libwww.syr.edu/digital/images/o/OneidaCommunityPhotos/>.

This website has links to many photographs taken of the Oneida community, a Utopian society established by John Humphrey Noyes. Collected by the Syracuse University Library, the website includes hundreds of snapshots of life in Oneida. The collection also includes plates from books written by Oneida community members and Noyes himself.

“Sources: Ancient, Biblical, and Medieval Traditions.” Utopia. 2006. New York Public Library. http://utopia.nypl.org/I_sources.html>.

This website displays pictured of imagined Utopias from ancient and medieval times. It gives a good idea of Utopian visions before Utopian societies came to America. In addition, the paintings and engravings are visually stunning.
